The following are the profiles of the members of Central Otago Health Inc

Caroline Tamblyn

Chairperson Central Otago Health Inc

I have represented Roxburgh and Teviot Valley residents on COHINC since 2019.   I'm proud of our wonderful community hospital. We are fortunate to have such a dedicated Dunstan Hospital team who deliver great health services to our people.
I live at Coal Creek on a farm with my husband, our two boys have now grown up and left home.

My work as a Support Worker looking after elderly folk in their homes is a good link to the health needs of Seniors in the Teviot Valley.

I have a resource management background and a strong interest in rural issues.   I'm a local rep for Beef & Lamb (the farm industry group) plus I'm involved with several water user groups.

Britta Christensen

I have resided in Cromwell for 25 years, with my husband Neil MacTaggart.  Together we have two children, one at Cromwell College and one at Otago University.

Having worked as a community Pharmacist in Queenstown, Wanaka and Cromwell since 1993, I have come in contact with a wide demographic of our community including visitors to the region.  This has given me an insight into the health challenges that our community faces living away some distance from a large city.

I have been actively involved in the Cromwell community over the years, I restarted Girl Guiding in 2009 and have been a coach and club co-ordinator for the Cromwell Swim Club and are currently a technical official for Swim Otago.
